News Lifts Enhance Village-to-Village Experience
Beaver Creek enhances its village-to-village skiing and
snowboarding experience with the addition of two high-speed
quad chairlifts and the creation of an alternative entry
point for Beaver Creek Mountain, known as Beaver Creek
Landing, for the 2004-2005 season. The new lift system is
expected to improve skier and rider circulation on the
mountain and reduce traffic on Village Road, the main road
to Beaver Creek Village.
Intermediate and advanced skiers and riders boarding the
lower lift at Beaver Creek Landing in Avon can connect with
an upper lift, running from an area in Bachelor Gulch to the
top of Strawberry Park. Guests can schuss from Strawberry
Park to the Talons intermediate and advanced ski terrain via
an expanded ski-way. The year-old Birds of Prey Express Lift
(#9)—the first in the series of three lift installations in
two years—whisks skiers from the Talons to Beaver Creek
Mountain.
